How Much Sand Will I Need

hi i was thinking of swapping my gravel for sand from argos and was just wondering how much i would need i have a fluval roma 240 here are the dimesions 120 x 40 x 55 cm

Depends on how deep you want it, say you have an average of 5cm of depth: 120*40*5 = 24000, 24000/1000 = 24L, multiply this by the density of sand - 1.6 and you have 1.6*24 = 38.4Kg.

I would say get 3 bags and see how you go, from standbys calc that should work out about right, i think they are 15kg each.
