This is probably really easy to work out but im no good at maths at all, ive been trying to figure it out for the last 10 minutes but im getting nowhere!

Basically, I have a 10L bucket that I use for water changes, how much Prime do I need to add to each bucket load of water? I cant imagine it will be much as 2.5ml will do my whole tanks worth of water (105L)

10l is 2.6 gallons, Prime is designed for 1 ml for every 10 gallons ( one capful [5ml] for every 200l/50 gallons ) so you only need to add 0.25ml of prime per bucket. Pretty much only a few drops but you can add extra without worries

I use 6 drops in my 10L buckets - I think it's actually 5 drops per 10L, but extra doesn't do any harm. (the little Prime bottles tell you in drops, rather than ml, how much you need, which is much easier)

Ah yep it's 2 drops per 4 litres (just checked my bottle); so 5-6 drops per bucket.

I dunno if they are different over the pond or not, in Canada/US they are setup for ml/gallon. I just do 15ml for my 125 gallon tank on wc days since I use a python from my tap into the tank

I have both a small 50ml bottle and a 250ml bottle - the small one has directions in drops (because of the tiny size, I suppose) and the large has directions in ml/cap size. I just top up the small bottle with the large when it runs out, becuase the amount used is easier to remember and add to the bucket (only have a 125L tank so not much water is changed).

Awesome, cheers guys. I cant believe ive been using Tetra Aquasafe til now, with that I had to use 5ml per bucket! Such a ripoff product in comparison to Prime (baring in mind I paid the same for my bottle of Prime as I do for the Aquasafe).
