I have had baby betta's and guppies. The guppies would live okay, but the newborn fry, believe it or not, would come out, swim towards the bottom and I had a cory eat one in front of me! The betta's were not intentional. I didn't know anything about them and caught my male harassing the female and then collecting eggs. The eggs hatched. Dad had a good meal
