thier percentage of dead fish is extremely low (less than 2% to be exact) my brother in law is the manager of the store.....and that is pretty impressive for a store with over 200 overstocked tanks
I never said you did. I just said that no-one can say they don't in case anyone wanted to raise against me and say "My LFS never ever has a single dead fish, not even after deliveries" or something like that. I'll admit, in the best stores the dead fish are mostly after delivery but some do get them other times too
I know how shops open up in a morning, they start by doing dead checks on everything(fish, reptiles, other pets) and if they are just an aquatics store they do dead checks, make sure no ones jumped or anything. And I'm not doubting that they keep their tanks healthy or anything. I was just putting the point out there for people who think their LFS never have dead fish. The chances are they are actually very good at cleaning up the bodies to keep their reputation.
