How many guppies

Why not keep some of the cutest males? Have you checked any garage sales or in the newspaper or on radio to see if anybody is dumping tanks they don't want? Some people give cracked tanks away. Just get some silicone glue and they are watertight once it dries and cures and bingo, another tank for the price of the silicone glue. It comes in a tube here at Canadian Tire and the one we got is safe for fish. Maybe they all are. I dunno. You don't have to disassemble the tank, just apply, thickly smear, the silicone glue along the cracks...bingo, sealed!

Our cracked, mended tanks are completely watertight and the fish are thriving in them. There's always a way to get another tank...if you find somebody wanting to throw a cracked tank out, just put the cracked part to the back, put in some tallish plants and awaaaay you go! (of course make sure the tank is thoroughly cleaned so no "bugs" or diseases are in it, just to be extra safe, before filling it)

maybe the shrimps could be food for guppies?

No way. They are my favorites and they are valuable.

Money is not an issue. I just don't have anymore space left. Well I could put one very shallow to bookcase but shelf can only take 37kg so I couldn't fit big enough tank there either. When we move to a bigger apartment then I will buy big tank.

Maybe I will. I'm not sure yet. I could keep 1 male and 2 females in 128 l.

Maybe I'm missing something here, like there's other fish...but you could keep a LOT more if they are in a 128. By my conversions, that's about 33 gallons, no?

Well yes. But because of cardinal tetras I don't know if I should heighten my GH. And if I don't, then guppys will not get best conditions.
