I was told around 6/7 years by my pet store but i wouldn't always trust what they say so dunno im afraid

parrot fish like the saltwater fish or blood parrots like the cichlid?

well iv heard 6-10 years, but it depneds on where u buy them. if u get them young from a breeder they are more likely to live longer lives than the ones u buy from a lfs when they are probably alredy a full year old to begin with. with hybrids thogh it is hard to tell thogh, it really depends on their genetics.
