When my new tank arrived last year I had no time to check the floor before the stand and tank were in place and everything was ok with my four footer previously in the same place. I could not tell with the empty tank whether or not the floor was level until the water was in it.

I have a concrete floor so I'm not bothered about it but I find that my six foot tank is lower at one end. When I have almost the full 640 litres in it the water line reaches the canopy and I can see that the water is deeper at one end by 5mm. A bit of trigonometry  gives me a slope of 1.59 degrees. How level is your tank?

I was thinking of going water skiing now I've found water with a slope on it!

My 55 gallon is the same way because of my custom stand haha

You mean you actually custom-built it with a slope on it?!! :)

Well didnt mean to have a slope, but it happened haha

Surprisingly, my stand is 100% level. Though, I doubt the one I put upstairs will be :p

My tank has is higher on one side by 1 cm

I bet your fish find it easier swimming one way than the other. Lol

Mine's not too bad, (not quite 0.5°) had to "shim" the front of the cabinet with some additional carpet off cuts to compensate for the carpet grippers up against the skirting. :)

Width measurement.

You have an angle-meter?!

All told, I think you may consider your tank, er, level.

:)

Nope, wasnt, settled to it was, then settled some more to, nope definitely not level now lol.

I dont think any of them are properly level, closest would be the 2.6ft gourami tank

At my old house (Which was a converted hunting cabin - urban sprawl got that far to turn the deep woods into suburbia) And my tank, 36 inches long, was a almost 3/4'' different from one side to the other.

We have since moved and said tank is in the basement of my current house, and while I can still notice a difference from one end to the other, it isnt nearly as bad as it was.

My 55g is also uneven but within the same margins as this pic. I have a concrete floor so I'm not too bothered but I'm making sure to keep an eye on it
