How Fast Do Mollies Grow?

I have a few black mollies and they are about 1 1/2 inces long, I read that they get up to 3-6 inches long,depending on the breed, how fast do they grow? I wanted to try and figure out when they were going to get 3 inches long so I can have a bigger tank set up and ready for them before then.

Should hit full size within 9 months to a year, I'd imagine =/

I'm not going to correct that. Mine seem to get full size in about a year but some of them never get over 2 inches, 5 cm, SL. Aquarium strains are not the big fish that their wild cousins are, they never do get very big.
