About the only difference I know of is that females are rounder and bigger than males. It's pretty easy to tell once they are fullgrown.

In females the pelvic fins are rounded (for holding eggs during breeding), whereas males have more pointed pelvic fins. Hope that helps a bit :)

Hi Amber.

When they're small its hard to tell the difference, but it gets easier as they grow, when you have a large shoal of corys the difference can be quite marked.
After you've seen a few males and females, you sort of get an eye for the different sexes.
A friend of mine can tell them apart from about an inch, but I can't till the difference is really obvious, I'm fairly accurate with peppered cats, but Panda cory's really throw me, they're my next project so I'm practicing on them at the moment.

Best regards
