How Do You Make Suckers Suck?

Hi

I am fed up with my heater and pump inlet pipe falling off the aquarium wall as those suckerery things seem to lose flexibility and just don't stick. Even if I change them they seem to last about 2 months

Am I missing out on a trick? I think I once saw someone say use silicon but you obviously can't do that once you have fish in the water (can you!??).

Any tips?

You can buy replacement suckers from most pet stores.
I had the same problem until I replaced them.
Maybe change the place you get them from in case the quality is different.

wash them with hot water and try... is it glass is clean?

I've got the same issue, my filter stucks fine but the heater just pops off, I've ended up jaming the heater in the corner next to the filter and that holds it just fine.

the suckers get hard and don't seal properly after a while, replace em!

Im not sure if there any good but i was looking at THESE a while back as im having the same issues as you. There not cheap but if they work they would save me a lot of problems.

I have the opposite problem - I can never get mine to come off!
