Hole In The Hasemania Nana.

Emmsy a vet.
Probably need a vet to perscribe romet 8 a broad spectrum antibiotic.
If you did get that med from a vet couldn't use it in the main tank as it would probably wipe the beneifcial bacteria out in the filter.
So you would have to treat all the ill fish in a hospital tank.
I would then do some daily water changes on the main tank, then add the lfs bacterial med back to the water removed.

Could you re-explain what I should do to the main tank?

The main tank add the bacterial med from the lfs and do some water changes for a few days, when you do a water change you have to add the correct amount of med back to the water removed.
If you use an antibiotic on the main tank it will wipe the bacteria out in your filter, meaning you will have to cycle the tank again.
Though sometimes you do have to wipe the bacteria out in a main tank with bad bacteria strains.

Ok got it, how much water to remove and how many days?

I'm just about to go to the fish shop.

Gone.

I would say do 3 days of water changes and see how it goes with the bacterial med from the lfs.
I once had a bad bacteria infection it killed about four fish.
I used antibiotics but I had more tanks to take mature sponges from to kick start the tank again, and the tank was cycled straight away.

Ok, have a good day at work.
I'm off too got things to do.
Good luck with the fish.

Had a look in work, and we have Romet B treatment or Romet 30 medicated feed. To get them from a vet would cost £15.00 and might just save your whole tank. For now though, keep going with the intense treatment and also med the whole tank as previously stated.

Strangely enough the fish with the hole is still alive in isolation and eating well.

My fish still have white and red patches but no holes. One has a red jaw.

Sadly its not always a fast killer sometimes bacteria can take a while to kill fish.
What med are you using.

The Interpet one you suggested.

My parents are trying to get me to put it back in the tank. I have started a 2nd round of treatment because the fish still have symptoms.

That meds only good on mild bacteria infections.
You really need an antibiotic like has been mentioned.
Hows the fish acting.

Well it doesn't move too much since it doesn't have the space. Sometimes when I go in it starts swimming / darting about with what space it has. It is taking food very well and quickly goes for it, it's reactions seem perfect.

I would think of ringing a vet to see if they would perscribe a med.
