hi i have a real problem with snails and am asking to find out what is the best fish that eat snails but are not clown loaches

most botias will eat snails, botia striata (zebra loach) stays small at 4 inches but are happier living in groups. Have a look on www.loaches.com for more ideas.

it also depends on the snail. If you have Malaysian Livebearing snails then there really isn't anything that will eat them except really big loaches and a couple of big cichlids.
