Hello and welcome to the forum.

I think you will enjoy the hobby and the forum. There are a lot of very friendly and helpful members here. I would suggest doing a fishless cycle and researching before buying any fish. There is a link to 2 fishless cycling methods in my signature. You will save yourself a lot of headaches later.
