Hey A Little Something About Me

Hi everyone, I'm not new to fish groups but I am new to this site so cool, I'll say a little about my little watery friends. I have 2 male betta's both in their own one gallon tanks, one is a splittail or scissortail. The other is a veiltail. The veiltale is older and has a bubble nest about 1" tall and 7" long, he was busy, the other is new so he hasnt made one yet.

5 gallon:
-3 bumblebee Gobies (Brachygobius xanthozona)

3 gallon:
-7 guppy fry (all girls, 1 month and 10 days old)
-4 fry (unknown parent) 4 days old

20 gallon:
-1 male mickymouse platy
-1 female platy, half orange half black
-1 male molly, white belly and black mixed with orange sides

40gallon:
-1 Pleco (Liposarcus multuradiatus)
-1 Otocinclus sp.
-2 pineapple swordtails, females
-2 red swordtails, females
-5 female guppies
-3 male guppies, one is a red snakeskin, the other 2 are lyretails
-3 black neon tetra's
-1 marbled hatchet fish
-1 Harlquin


and a bowl of baby brine shrimp, growing for food.

Thats my babies, Also I'm 14 and I live in Canada, and it's cold Also I have a hamster named Joey.

Wow, you have so many fishes (in my opinion at least) at your age... and grow baby brime shrimps to feed your fishes.. I wish I could be that talented as well hehe

It's always nice to see young people who are responsible enough to properly care for fish. So many kids now know nothing about responsibility.

I see that your Group is "Validating". You will need to go to the email you received when you registered and click the link to validate your membership. Hey this is me Milkshake, my acount shut down so I started a new one . Thank you for a all of the complements. I started out fish keeping with one betta then a goldfish that I kept in like a 3 gallon tank, poor thing. But I've learned a lot about fish since then and I've managed to abtian 35 fish, and keep the tanks running smoothly, thats the hard part. So many people think fish don't count as pets but there a lot more work then my dogs are! I love all of them . What kinds of fish do you guys have?

i have a 26 gallon and about 5 1 gallons for bettas but when i move im getting a 100 gallon

I bet you can't wait for that 100 gallon! I won't be getting something like that until I live alone since there is no room for something that big and my mom is always scared of a tank braking and water flowing out everywhere. Since my 40gallon and smaller tanks are all established now I can usualy leave them alone for quite awhile without problems, for now my problem is wanting more fish, lol. Is it a 100gallon long/short or is it tall? With the tall ones how does anybody ever clean the gravel out? My arm is tired after scrubing algae of my 40gallon, I can't emagin the pain a 100 gallon could cause! What kind of fish are you thinking of putting in it?

That's odd that your account messed up. I see that the first post of this thread doesnt' have a name on it. Strange but glad you were able to get the same ID back.

I didnt know I had to put ina code and ID# to activate it so I think there was a 1 week period to do this or it would shut down. So I made a new acount but insted of just milkshake it is now milkshake_ so a little different but it works and I've activated it! Glad to be part of the group again anyways, theres so many members that you can get a response right away.
