He's Fallen For A Chewing Gum Packet....

My new betta, Kamiko.. has fallen in love... with a bright green chewing gum packet. He noticed it in front of his tank yesterday and was obviously trying to figure it out, so I picked up up and kinda showed it to him. He immediately started flaring and swimming crazily around the tank, but he wasn't attacking like he does when he has his daily dose of mirror, he was FLIRTING. Hubby didn't believe me, until he saw that he'd built a bubblenest. LOL. I just showed him the same packet just now and he is definitely in love. Too cute.

Haha, no, it was a wrapper of a 3 pack, so no silver. LOL. He flared at me a bit when we first got him, but he doesn't bother now.

you should use it on those days that he just seems a little glum. My bettas have those days, like the day I let my 2 males flare for over an hour . The next day they were VERY tired and I just wanted to cheer them up but didnt have a gum packet ready.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That is so funny! I have never heard of a Betta fish, or any other kind of fish, do that with a green bubble gum packet. That brings a smile to my face, considering that my beautiful Betta passed away today. Your fish sounds like it's in love!
