Hey everyone.
I've had loads of contrasting info about the stocking of my just over 5 gallon tank. I am desperate for a bigger one but due to being at uni have no space

My options that I would like some of are: sparkling gourami (only reach 4cm), pygmy corydoras (3cm), siamese fighting fish, emerald dwarf rasbora, ottos, zebra snails, dwarf frog (not clawed!!) (have considered the dwarf pea puffer but have struck them off my list despite how adorable they are)
SO!
What do you guys think? I'd love some advice and what you guys reckon for my tank, its 25 litres to be precise

Any various stocking ideas would be great to give me some food for thought, cant wait to get started on my little tank full of little fish!

Thankyou!

I'd have to vote betta because they are currently my favorite fish (I've got eighteen of them now).

Otos, though small, really do need a larger tank because they school and they need a larger surface area of algae to eat. They do not usually eat prepared foods. They are also not ideal for new aquariums.

The betta could live in a five gallon with a few shrimp and a snail or two. You could also have a very lively shrimp tank with several types of shrimps. I think the sparkling gourami would be suitable for a five, but I'm not positive so don't take that as truth. I know they work in a ten gallon..

I would vote betta too :good:

They all have super personalities and are interactive too, they are like mini oscars in a way :D
