i've looked through the plant guide on this site and can't find these plants. i took a pic at the lfs and wanted to know what they are and what they require in terms of up keep before i buy. Anyone tell me what they are please?

i've got a low tech plant tank (no C02) but do you use a fert substrate and daily dosing of plant food liquid. light is 18w currently left on for about 8 hours. its a 40ltr tall tank.

thanks

Its not the best pic but, the one on the left looks like either Ceratopteris thalictroides or Ceratophyllum demersum or even just plain old Cabomba, most likley to be the later.

next in line...Hygrophila polysperma Rosanervig

next, Bacopa caroliniana or Bacopa monnieri

next, Echinodorus bleheri

these plants are easy keeping plants, would require some ferts. Not everyday, but every 3 days or so.

brilliant, thank you for the info. took the pics with my phone, spare of the moment thing.

thanks again.

One on the left looks like Ambulia Aquatica and next to it looks like Rotala Indica I have both in my planted tank and they are touching the surface after a week, but then I think mine might be high tech so dunno with low tech.
