Help With Api Kh/gh Test

I have always used other brands but got the api kh and gh tests this time. I am a bit confused because the instruction say the water should change from blue to yellow (kh) and orange to green (gh) but the water never turns blue or orange. Also how dark should the yellow and green be? Thanks and sorry for the stupid questions.

if the water never chnaged that means you never added enough drops man............. how hard can it be ( add enough drops till it makes "that" certain color............... bo00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Water turned yellow for kh and green for gh just never the blue or orange instructions said. Oh and thank you for your ever so helpful answer...or not.

With Gh/Kh,,, (API test kit).it just matters on the amount of drops................. if it " doesnt seem green. yellow " enough... add more drops ya duck...................

I had this same question a couple of weeks ago. Apparently as soon as it starts to change even a little bit then that's your reading.
