Help reading API test kit. part 2

Thanks for your help so far. It was suggested that i send a picture so maybe more people can try to tell the result.
Nitrate test:
Looks like 40ppm to me, but the scales are so close together. This is tap water so it can't be much higher than this i guess (legally).
If i hold it against the white of the card so there is contact it gets darker and looks like 160ppm. But that can't be right.

In the photos (photos can distort colours too, not saying it is here, just that it can be) both look like 40 ppm to me.
