Help On Stocking

right heres the story ...i had my tex then paul my mate who owns an LFS said he would swap me my tex for a EBJD so i agreed orders came in today and the EBJD'S werent there and the tex had sold that sam day so now i have gone thru my mind what to get as a nice solo tank for my 55 i was thinking of a nice large african or american cichlid for example paratilapia polleni,frontosa,green terror, hornte tilapia something along them lines i was wondering what you guys suggest ?

personally i love green terrors but its personal taste at the end of the day . maybe if the ebjd is what you really want it could be worth waiting for 1

Remove the birchir and get some channa's from nelly in a months time and have a species tank

i was thinking the same as i could have the bichir in with the terror as well and maybe a nice green phantom plec but depending on if paul still has the terror in then i may get that sunday or monday just have to see what happens theres a nice 8" frontosa going though thats been battered and paul said i can have it for next to nothing when its healed up so my minds messed

No offence foley, but we've seen how bored you get with just having one fish in the tank,

what are the dimensions again?

its not a case of getting bored its a case of finding the right fish for me i first got my big tank and was messing around with ideas with buying fish rather than in my head i have made daft mistakes and now i am an stomping down and finding s fish for keeps and the dimensions are i think 46"x18"x14"

and cheers mark but i refuse to pay that much for one of those when i have a chance of getting one for nout its just me being cheap

yeah the only thing that put me off of those when i got my big tank was the price. but then i just paid £55 for a rotkeil so work that 1 out

hehe i know but its the fact that i may still be able to get one for free if i cant get hold of that then i will go for the green terror i think

yea i like the channa's but i have my bichir this guy is my baby he woke me up the other day i heard him crunch a few pellets up (we have a bond you see)
