Hi ive got two (male and female)kribs in a rio 180 juwel tank, and i introduced what maidenhead aquatics called a nigerian red, i got a female and male. the male looks like a krib although the female is very different. The male krib gave the red a hard time when he went in he didnt injur him and the reds colour looks good and fins are intact although he hides by the filters.

Its a great new fish and i dont want to loose him any ideas, ive put a few extra coconut shell halves in as caves and my tank is very well planted, ive got a pair of rams too and they get on great.

The female swims out the front and is doin well.

water quality is perfect.

any help would be great

sleepless in dorset :(  :look:

Im a bit confused, im looking at sites on the net about nigerian reds and they look nothing like mine especially the female whos blue green irridescent and much more slender, the male has a red belly right up to his mouth, and a spotty tale, i will get some pics tomorrow hopefully watch this space
