Fish on left is either a male peacock cichlid (Aulonocara sp) or a young male Sciaenochromis ahli. Both are reasonably peaceful, with the peacocks growing to about 4-5 inches and the ahli reaching 6 inches. They are both predators and will eat small fish and shrimp.

Fish on right looks like a Maingano Cichlid (Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos). A reasonably peaceful Mbuna type cichlid and also grows to about 4-5 inches.

Thank you! My guess was aulonocara as well, but now I know to watch for the coloring of the scianochromis ahli. I will wait a few months and post a new picture here of him.

Body shape and that blotch in the middle of the body is leading me towards thinking it's a hap. You may have to wait for a proper ID.

It could be the electric blue ahli.
