Hi, new to the forum, I am concerned about my pleco and just wanted to see if anyone could enlighten me.

She/ he has developed a strange orange patch (like a cluster of orange specks) and I don't know what it is! It doesn't seem to be effecting her behaviour, she still active and eating with no clamped fins or other signs of illness.

She is a gold spot common pleco and is about 6 inches long. She is in a 46G (will be getting a bigger tank) and all the parameters are good:
Am + Ni 0
Nitrates 20
Ph 7.4
Temp 74 F (23C)

Also gets lots of veggies and has driftwood.

Any ideas?
Thanks Holly
