Help! guppies

Salt shouldn't kill guppies, they can live in half strength sea water without any problems.

Salt shouldn't kill guppies, they can live in half strength sea water without any problems.

I am aware that they can live in brackish water but that doesn't explain that they started dying I got my salt off Amazon API freshwater salt maybe it was contaminated or exposed to something is all I can think of it did arrive damaged and open but I didn't think of anything of it next time I'll get it from store and should I try again after I get the rest of the salt out
