Help Getting Rid Of Brown Algae

my otos dont seem to eat my brown algae anymore. i have 3 in a 20 gallon long. the tank is pretty well planted (more planted than it used to be) so maybe more otos would help?

tank has been up for about 2 years now.

I would say get more ottos, if it hasnt gone in a few weeks, bristlenose plecos should do the trick. hope this helps

When I had algea, I went for a blackout. Totally nobbled aglea in my main tank. I only get minimal buildup on the front glass now. A quick attack with the magnet cleaner sorts it out once a week

So people will call it over-kill, but I would catch it early, and nip it in the bud!

Obviously do all the other things too, like check for sunlight hitting the tank, make sure you are feeding the correct amounts, and also check levels in the tank!
