Hello everyone, I joined TFF today and am happy to be here!
About 6 months ago, maybe longer, I bought an established fish tank off of Craigslist that someone was done with. It was a 20 gallon tank with a good handful of fish in it. When we brought it home, we basically emptied all of it out, and added an under gravel filter, new gravel, lid, light, plants live and fake, and replaced all the water that looked like it hadn't been cleaned recently.
Today the tank is reestablished, and I am enjoying watching the fishes.
I have-
2 Gourami's
4 Neon Tetras
1 GlowFish Tetra
2 White Skirt Tetras
1 Kahili Loach
1 Cory Catfish
1 Black Molly
All except for the Neon's, Glowfish, and Catfish were already in the tank when I purchased it.
When I bought the tank I had only done light research. Figured everything I needed was already in there. I joined this forum today after I've been dealing with ammonia issues, and have realized there is a lot to learn. I'm excited to do so!
If anyone has any tips, or thinks there are some improvements I could make to the tank, I'd be happy to hear them. Even though i've had it for a few months, I'd consider myself a newbie for sure. Thanks for having me!
