 Hi! I am new to the aquarium world, but really excited by the prospects of it. I have had my tank now for 6 months and am falling head over heals in love with the hobby. The amount of money and time I have spent trying to make everything perfect for my little kiddos is crazy, but I love it! I cant wait to learn even more from everyone here!

I have two tanks, one 36 gallon bow front and a standard 10 gallon. I started with the 10, but due to lack of knowledge had overstocked and needed to upgrade. So now I have them split between the two tanks. 
 
36 Gallon:
Golden Dojo Loach - Personal favorite and my oldest. He is just so freaking cute!
2 Red Tail Botia Loaches
2 Lyretail Mollies
2 Dwarf Fire Gouramis
And a Pleco
 
In the 10 gallon I have
 
4 YoYo Loaches
8 Molly Fry (These came unexpectedly. Not entirely sure what to do with them. LOL I honestly am surprised they are still alive.)
 
It has been a learning process as far as tank set up and cycling goes. We just got the 36 gallon straightened out. We did the "24 hour" thing the pet store told us when we bought it and had to do the cycle with the fish in the tank. Talk about a lot of work, but the tank finally looks and tests clear.

The 36 is lovely! Are you going to add a background to the 10?
 
I know you didn't ask but the 10 is much too small (so is the 36) for the yo-yo loaches. They get up to 6" and prefer groups of 6+ (8-10 being much more preferred).
I havn't heard of the redtail loach..is it THIS? If so the 36 will be too small in the long run. The 36 is also too small for the dojo and they prefer cooler water and buddies.
 
Sorry for being so negative! I'd just rather you know this now than later.
 
Do you know what kind of pleco you have? If not you can post a pic and someone should be able to ID it for ya.
You could take the fry to your LFS once they've grown perhaps?

Well, the botias had been very aggressive as of late and so today I gave them to a friend of mine who has several others and a much larger tank. Hopefully they will fit in better with more of their kind, and hopefully my kiddos will heal up from the damage they did. As for the yoyos, I know they will need a much larger tank, but they are really small right now. They just have to make it one more month until I get a bigger tank to move them in.

Ooh okie, glad to hear you are getting a bigger tank for the yo-yos. That is my bad on assuming that the 10g was a permanent residence, sorry.
 
If you'd like to see them in something bigger before you are able to get a new tank then rubbermaid storage totes are good for temporary homes.
They can bow though so may want to tie something around it to make it not do that.

welcome to the forums cant really add more to what the other people have said above if you ar elooking for a replacement bottom feeder fishf or your 10 gallon try dwarf corydoras or the corydoras habrsous if you do make sure it is habrosus not hastatus or pygmaes they act mor elike tetra than corydoras
