Hello Everyone!

New to the forum, just thought I'd stop by and say Hello. Buying my first tropical tank tomorrow - so excited. Starting off with a male Betta.
I want to add some snails/non fish too - any advice?
Should be fun!

Two Cherry Shrimp are living happily with one of my males I'm by no means an expert and don't know if that's recommended or not lol But my Betta and the shrimp all seem to be quite happy and they swim around together

It's only a 15L starter tank (3.97 gallons approx.) Hence the "1" male Betta. Don't want to overcrowd the little fella.

What plants are recommended?
