Hell Yeah! - 30 Maybe More Krib Fry! :)

Hi Guys,

Well after the last few days of not knowing where the eggs went, da darrrr...they hid them - i have 30/40 krib fry in the bk of the cave lovin it...mum and dad are well & protectiing them BIG style...so happy thanks for all info and advice peeps!!!

Well chuffed will get pics in few days when there about!!!

Well if you have a pH of 7.1 or above, you only get male krib fry , if the pH is 6.9 or below, you only get females. If your pH is 7, you get the best of both worlds!

Really, this i never knew, so if there ph goes to above 7.1 there all be male
But seriously, the ph here is 8.0-8.5 and my lfs is always breeding them, being a mix of both,

They may change the pH of the water.

If the pH is 7.1, the babies will all be males BUT there is a small percentage you may get the occasional female
Most lfs know this stuff so they use mix the water from your area with RO water which makes a neutral pH (7.0)

Well mummy & daddy and fry are doing well its so funny, only 1 day old and there so small and thier yolk sack are there...

Watching them is so funny cos there just spinning at the min and some of them are flyin out the cave but mum & dad rush for them gobble them up and spit them to the back of the cave again lmao!!!

How long b4 they will swim around with the parents?
