could anyone tell me what watt heater i need for a 110l tank please, got one but its stuck on 22c and want to bump it up to 24c

Id just simply use a 100watt heater. But no reason why you cant go a little bigger.

excellent, thanks. reason i wanted to do this was because i'm planning on getting a betta for the tank. i've read somewhere that 24c is best for these guys, or is 22c acceptable to keep them?

As far as i know the best temps for Beta's are.

70-80F or 21-26c so should be fine, But id be more inclined too keep it at around 24c.

But thats only from the top of my head. Im sure someone like lilFishie will be along soon to answer it for you. Or you could post in the Beta's section and someone will sort you out

thanks, i always try to research the fish i plan on getting for compatibility, conditions, feeding ect....
i did start a thread in the general discussions section but noone seemed interested in helping me out, i wanted to know if the fish i had in mind were going to be compatible with the betta but never mind, i'll get my head down and look into it in detail myself.
