Heater Question?

hi guys im dunno if im being stupid or not but my heater (jager) has a notification light to say if its on or not, however this keepes going o nand off does this mean the heater is faulty or does it turn itself on or off according to the temperature? thanks

JUST MEANS ITS REGULATING TEMP OF TANK AND IS NORMAL, IF IT WAS ON ALL THE TIME YOU WOULD HAVE COOKED FISH!!!

yea mine the same, if there is a change in temp the heater will kik in and warm it back up

cheers guys wasnt sure if it stayed on to regulate temp but seems it turns off completely only 3 days until its cycled wooooo

It works a lot like a central heating system. It comes on when needed and goes back off when the temperature rises. It sounds to me like it is working exactly as it should.
