Among the best. They are some of the best schoolers and they don't nip anyone. A very peaceful and pleasant fish.

Indeed so, they may be bullied by other fish, even some that are smaller then themselves. A very peaceful inoffensive fish of great beauty. After 40 years, my fondness for this species remains strong.

I have owned a group of five for a week and I think these fish are fantastic.

They inhabit the very top of my tank which optimizes the display of my tank with the Otocinclus inhabiting the middle of the tank and the Corydoras Sterbai being bottom dwellers.

From my experience Tetra prefer to inhabit the middle and bottom of the tank.

They school almost all of the time and are allot more active than the Flame Tetra I had previously and they have been peaceful towards each other and the other fish in my tank thus far.

I highly recommend these fish.
