hello all :) i'm thinking of getting a hammer off another reefer so i thought i'd ask you guys here first. the seller says its bleaching a bit and its getting too big for her tank thats why its for sale.

what do you guys think? it doesn't look in that bad a condition to me.
 
hmm...that bit at the very bottom doesnt look too happy. Looks a bit pale too. Doesnt look so bad though.
 
the polyps are translucent :unsure: do you guys think its possible to get it back to its normal color? i asked the person and she says the color was better when she got it
 
Looks overinflated and a bit pale to me. If it's free or cheap, go for it, being at the bottom it probibly just isn't getting enough light, but if they are asking the going rate, let it be. With good light and water stats though it should pull round to normal :good:
 
i can see where you're coming from steffie. i wouldn't want a hammer lost after going in too :no:

having said that, at this rate i don't think it's better of in where it is now. the seller has yet to reply my offer at the moment.
