Hi peeps,

Does anyone have any info about when guppy fry should develop colour? I think ive read around the 4 week period....Is this right??

Thanks for any info :)

Well, I have a batch that are 4 weeks old, not much color yet, though some had black tails after about a week. Also hard to tell which are males/females. The biggest one is about 1/2 inch long now. Fun to watch them grow.

Thanks for the info echo, mine are about 2 months old with no colour at all! :( well there all a kinda yellowish colour oh well :dunno:

My fry are only two weeks old and there full of blue. :D

I've learned that all my gupps get color in sequence-
1. Black
2. Yellow
3. Orange/Red

Of course I only have a few colors, so blue gupps I guess would get blue in #3.
All this depends on what you are feeding them too, if you're feeding live brine shrimp every day or just flake!!! (BTW, feeding live brine shrimp every day... not such a good idea. great every week, but not every day!!!)
But hey, they'll come into their colors yet. KEYWORD: PATIENCE!!!
good luck with the fish!
Robin :D

My Guppys only started to get thier colour after 6 weeks.

NICE Avatar Pic guppygirl :D
