Guppy Fry Colours...

Nice fish!

I take back the boring...

As I said in your other thread, the fin shape will only be a small hint at the final condition when fry are as young as yours are. If your fish are 4 months old, you might more easily tell a nice fan tail from a more common fish, but even then you will be going on mere hints of the fish's potential in that respect.

Well my 3 guppies are 4 weeks old today and are not showing any colour.
1 of them is HUGE compared to the other 2.

Looking forward to seeing what they turn out like as this is my first experience with guppy fry.

I would love to show you guys my guppy fry, if only I could get some out of my guppies.....

really? I can't seem to get mine to stop pooping them out!

and if they lived on land I'm sure locusts would be jelous of not only the numbers of babies but also how much food they can put away. I've ended up having to toatally split the males and females into seperate tanks to try and slow the ever expanding

numbers.

That's exactly what I've been doing! Two 10g tanks right now with boys in one and girls on the other, kind of like a grade school field trip

I've kind of fallen out with guppies, they're too easy!

I'm still having fun with seeing how the fry end up with their colors and tails. But I can see an end to this fascination pretty quickly.
