Hey, do your female guppies gravid spots ever turn red-ish before they give birth? Or is that abnormal?

Every so often mine does and then it gets real dark (black) by the end of the week. Also if she is skinnier than usual and pinkish-red, she may already had them.

Some of my fry are nearly 1/3 biggr than the smaller bunch of fry. Also, haven't had any drops yet since my first one. Expecting about 5 by start of september

Hey, just to let you knw, I looked into my tank to see one of the translucent with red fmales giving birth, with about 18 already in the trap. Then, As i was watching the female, another female that wasn't in the trap dropped a fry ! So that is dropping in the breeder right now. So far, no blobby [deformed] fry!!

Awesome keep up the great work. I just sold 15 of my oldest females today. The males I am going to keep till middle of Aug.

Also, because I had 2 fish in the breeding traps, they started giving birth, then 2 others did outside of a trap so I had to put them in one to!

Hey everyone, since the anti-snail and smaller feedings havn't helped cap the snail population, I have borrowed [might keep] a pakistan loach, sometimes a yo-yo loach. So, he is about 1 inch long, and since they are nocturnal, I dug a hole in the darkest corner of my tank [back-left] then put 2 rocks next to each other and filled the gaps in with gravel to give him his new home which he loves. Some of the neons go round into the cave, the entrance is away from the main part of the tank, only to be stared at in a very evil way by the P.L. I might give him a name as he has loads of character. Maybe, something army/camo related as he has great markings. Will get more pics of the tank up soon.

Some bad news;

My dad says I can't get another tank [I can but we would have to get rid of my guppy tank & guppy fry tank to keep the new tank [which can't be bigger than our current ones] I only asked if I could get a 4gal to go on my desk next to my laptop with a mini-filter, fighting fish & some corys in it .

I will soon change that mans evil thinking. But it is my birthday soon, hopefully, I'm not allowed to buy another tank because he is buying me one. Don't want to gt to excited over nothing

Went to shirley aquatics and dobbys garden centre today, was going to go to a5 & walbricks but they were to far [my dad reckons ] But I bought 8 females to bring my total to;

3 males.
15 females.
1 pakistan loach.

2 of the females look identical & are half black with multicoloured cobra snakeskin patterend tails.

Waiting for my pics to go from ma comp to ma laptop then resize them then post them on here.

As I type, my massive female is giving birth! I'm expecting about 80+ fry
