Well after a couple months my first batch of baby guppies is finally old enough so that I can figure out which are males and which are females. I think I have 3 males and 6 females. I put the females into the community tank with my adult female guppy and they are only about half of her size. Should they be larger? I am trying to get a breeding project going but it is a slow start. I wish I could get them to grow up faster but I am already feeding them live food several times a day.

sounds like a very good growth rate to me gupppymonkey - 1/2 the size of the adults when they are only a few months old. :D Have noticed with my young females that they do a real growth spurt when have their first drop (they suddenly look like an adult)

I think your breeding project is off to a good start
