I wanted to rule the world but got distracted by s
Well, as some of you may already know, I met up with Danio2004 (Paul) this weekend and we had a great time! Having met on a fish forum, we thought it would be appropriate to visit my fave LFS. In the same complex as the LFS there is a place called The Palms Tropical Oasis. In here they have fish, tropical gardens, a zoo room etc etc.
If you want to see their website, then it can be viewed here: http

I apologise for the quality of some of the pics, I am not an expert photographer and refused (unlike some others I saw) to use my flash! Anyway, here are my pics from Saturday:
First of all, we saw the Kois and a HUGE Catfish
Then the Terrapins
Then we went into the Tunnel of Underwater Life - look at the size of that Puffer!
I dont think I've ever seen a tank so stocked! There was a sign on this tank that said: "Overcrowded? NO! If we are kept as a pair we are very happy. Introduce others to the tank and we will become very territorial and fight. eventually some of us will be killed. If we are kept in a crowd, we are very happy Cichlids and we do not begin to fight for our territory. We have enough space, are not overcrowded and do not come to any harm. Thanks to those who have asked" Hmmm is what we said!
Another giant Catfish and Paul posing!
Next up was the tropical gardens bit:
Some HUGE Lillys
Paul being attacked by a Banana tree!
The Zoo Room
