Guess The Fish Game #2

well sorry for the hold up guys but here i go. the 2 fish in the pic are the same fish so don't panic and i will either accept common name or scientific name, whatever you decide.

here is the pic... what am i?

pic1.jpg

HINTS: i can live in fresh or brackish waters and grow to around 31" long. i am a nocturnal bottom feeder and love to school. i am in the family Ariidae and dwell from Estuaries in these places; Australia; Northern Australia and central-southern areas of New Guinea. the first word in my scientific name is Arius. you could also see me labled with the first word in my scientific name being Hexanematichthys. Although the beginnings are different, the second word in my scientific name is labeled the same regardless of the beginning. The 1st 4 letters in the last word of my scientific name is lept.

i am NOT:
Chrysichthys nigrodigitatus AKA Silver Cat
Clarotes laticeps AKA Widehead Catfish
Ariopsis felis AKA Hardhead Sea Catfish
Hexanematichthys seemanni, Arius seemanni AKA Columbian Shark Catfish.

i AM: ... Arius leptaspis, Hexanematichthys leptaspis AKA Salmontail Catfish

CONGRATS TO SirMinion!!!

nobody has any guesses???

I'll take a wild stab, though I'm positive I'm wrong. Chrysichthys nigrodigitatus or Clarotes laticeps. I'm leaning towards the first choice, though.

Whether I'm wrong or not, the fish you posted are sure making me hungry. Mmmmm fried catfish, mmmm butter.

it's ot either of them, but good guesses. keep them coming and a couple more guesses and i'll give another clue!

edit: come on Captain Retardo, now i have a hard one... its your turn

ok put that one away this is my time to show lol. don't bring that bad boy out EVER lol. yours are hard as it is lol, but like 4 in a row

well do you have a guess on what it is? (my fish that is)

edit: i checked out the site in the pic, i can't undersatand the language. i have no idea where to go on the site

your fish is hard too, I have already given up on it, searching for something that looks like it on Planet Catfish, It would help if you gave out its family :D

more hints: i am in the family Ariidae and dwell from Estuaries in these places; Australia; Northern Australia and central-southern areas of New Guinea.

nope, but getting closer

here's another hint: the first word in my scientific name is Arius. you could also see me labled with the first word in my scientific name being Hexanematichthys. Although the beginnings are different, the second word in my scientific name is labeled the same regardless of the beginning.

its not your turn yet minion. that's not right.

i'll give one final clue (if people can't get it off this than i don't know what): the 1st 4 letters in the last word of my scientificname is lept
