Grounding Electronic Items

Is it important to ground your items? I keep reading this every once in a while in random places, and if it is really important, then I should do it. But not to many talk about it, so I just had to ask how many of you do it? Thanks

Most items are double insulated so don't need to be grounded, but some items, like lights, tis a good idea...
