Rabbut, everything we do is controlled by head office, they told us the filters to use etc etc. There is very little i can do to change the filters even if it would be benifitial .
We feed every second day at the moment.

I did the blackout business about 4 weeks ago and I uses a black weed control fabric I bought from homebase for about 99p per metre and doubled it over, it worked a treat for my pea soup water

Also did what was advised with an 80% water change

have you tried extracts of barly straw taffy,it been used in ponds for 800 years
to get rid of green water,i use it in my pond in the summer but i use barly straw and when it rit it gives of something that kill the green water and its fish friendly,now you can get it as a extract,so its worth a try
