Something I found out the hard way...

BE CAREFUL when scalding glass stones! They can actually burst, especially if they have small bubbles or other imperfections. I had a bunch of small glass flowers that I put in a pot of boiling water. Then I dumped them into a bowl of cool water, and started digging through them -

OUCH! I got a sliver of glass in my finger

So just a warning. If you boil glass ornaments watch out. After this happened, I checked every piece for broken parts - there were about 5 broken ones. I don't want to put sharp glass in with my fish...
