I now have 6 endlers in a quarantine tank. They are so tiny, juveniles, and so much prettier than I imagined. 6 tiny jewels! If you get the opportunity, get some!

Congratulations! I recently got 5 male endlers as well. They were being sold at my local fish assoc. auction and they were too cute to not bid. I got them for $6 total :) I know a couple people who breed them, so I can easily get some females to go with them, but I'm not sure I want to do that yet, haha.

I plan on buying(actually Ill be saving them) some that are being sold as feeders. I need some filler space in my tetra tank so a couple male endlers would work nice.
"Feeder Guppies" are generally not Endlers.

Endlers wholesale here in Canada for about $2 each. Feeders are just wild-type guppies and wholesale for about $0.015 each.

If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it isn't necessarily a duck.

Find a reputable source for your Endlers, keep them seperate from other similar livebearers, and distribute the fry to other like-minded hobbyists.

Just like with dogs, the $$ value is in the pedigree. If you do buy the feeders, assume at best that you have hybrids and distribute them as hybrids, not purebreed Endlers. :alien:

Otherwise, enjoy! Both wild guppies and Endlers should be appreciated in their wild form as well as the fancy varieties. I keep tanks of both and enjoy them for their own individual charms.
