Got Me A Plate Coral

I got this little plate coral yesterday, its the first coral I've bought for over a year!

I had a go at a bit of timelapse photography with it. Its eating krill and a pic was taken every 10 seconds over a duration of 7.5 minutes.



The dissapearing crabs weren't eaten or abducted by aliens, I just moved the little swines before they spoilt me cunning plan....

Thats a nice plate coral mate. iv got 3 in my tanks and got them all on a small piece of lr over a year ago. the seller of the shop thought there was 1 mushroom on the rock but i knew otherwise. over time the other 2 appeared on the same piece of rock, the largest is now about 6/7 inches across, the medium about 4 inches and the smallest being about an inch. very nice coarls. i struggle keepin ma blumin shrimps nicking the food when feedin them

Thats some serious growth from what I've read What and how often are you feeding them? This one is a krill hoover!

Everyone says they do but I've never felt a sting,mind you my hands are fairly tough .I have had to go get my Mrs's tweezers an pluck them out
