My extremely swollen neon tetra has lost weight! I added some anti-bac med about 6 hours ago and he's out from his hiding place and semi-shoaling!! He's stopping for a rest a lot but staying out and he's so slim it's getting hard to tell which one was swollen up!!!

Yippee!!!! Could this be teh first ill fish I've saved?? I hope so, but the signs are good. Now all I have to do is wait for the carbon to work in the other tank before treating my sick molly. Please keep your fingers crossed for her, she's a wee sweetie.

Thats good news lucky they rarerly make it.
Bless him.

Thanks Wilder, I suppose he's not out of the woods yet, but fingers crossed. Not so hopeful about my molly, my husband put a black widow from one tank into the other cos it kept attacking teh angelfish we have, I think that may have been a factor in both tanks getting sick. I'm sure it's internal bacteria now in both, can 99% rule out NTD. I'm feeling very lucky just now. I ca't lose another fish, I just can't, at some point I have to turn the corner.

Been there never rains but pours.
Good luck.
