Gold Nugget Pleco

The LFS has a Gold Nugget Pleco about 3 - 4 inches in size. Would he be good for a 20 gallon tank? What size do they grow to. What would be an acceptable price for one of that size? They have it up for $30CND

Up to 14 inches- so, no, you'd need a much bigger tank, particularly as they are said to be a bit sensitive to water stats.

you`l struggle for a plec for a 20 gAL TANK unless you go for some bristlenoses theres a topic about it in the catfish section

Yeah, that tank is too small. Not only will it need more room but the waste it will produce as an adult will send nitrates through the roof.
