Glass Catfish

reading another thread i saw glass catfish mentioned and i wondered if they would be ok in my tank.

its 60l with eventually 4 danios, 2 phantom tetras, 4 corys, 2 dawarf gouramis and then maybe 4 glass catfish.

i know they need to be in shoals and like to have perfect water conditions. if i can get them i will wait another few months for my tank to mature,

but would i be overstocked with this?

i'd say its fine just keep up with you water changes and gravel vacs and you'll be fine, plus the fish you have chosen don't produce much waste

60 litres is 14 gal so you can have 28 inches of fish, 2 per inch, if filter is good, in that it has adequate surface area for bacteria to like, get the bio ring things

28 inches!!! i would have that in my newly set up 30 gallon, never mind 14!

go with 6 glass cats, (they are more active in bigger groups IME) and they dont produce much waste

once your tank gets to 6 months, and is pretty stable, you should be fine with 1 cm a litre or 20 inches of fish

its a tetra tec filter with a tetra media and a black one with like a basket of balls at the bottom,

it is also well planted with caves, rocks etc.

ok you think my stocking list is ok and not overstocked: (60l tank)

4 golden danios
2 phantom tetras
1 pepper cory
1 albino cory
1 leapord cory
1 bronze cory
6 glass catfish
2 dawarf gourami?

2inch per gallon is recommended for tanks with hefty filters ( externals really) to avoid problems then stick with 1 inch per gallon, and relying truly on 1 source really doesnt back up your point

not overstocked, but trurck will probably say the opposite, oh and im no expert on catfish but wouldnt they all have to be the same subspecies, like all peppered for them to shoal, or doesnt it matter
