I've stuck a Kraken Rum bottle in my tank, simply for a bit of decor.
Good idea or not?

I was experimenting a few years back with glass globes inside the tank. Looked "Great" until one of my SAE swam inside and panicked and trapped. Being nearly invisible in water it kept swimming into the sides, could not find its way out. I did help it out and decided not a good idea.

Good Luck!

Ooh, this looks really pretty. I'd personally break it so there's no closed off parts and sand it down properly. Looks great, though!

It’s perfectly safe.

Plastic isn’t, because it’s porous. (Meaning it has little holes along the surface area, giving homes to bacteria)

I used to have glass bottles in a shrimp tank, they had no problems getting out. I grew algae on the bottles and rotated them so the shrimp could eat it.

I like that idea.
If anything ever does get stuck I'll release it and get some sort of stopper. Cork most likely.

I have upside down long stemmed wine glass in my beta tank. He rests on the top of it.
