API nitrate bottle 2

My nitrate test kit was running low a while back so I ordered a new one. Have gone to open it today as bottle 2 has officially run out, and it turns out they've sent me bottle 1 and a nitrite test

It's too late to send back for a refund, I know this is a long shot but does anyone know of anywhere that sells the nitrate test bottles independently? I've already got a spare nitrite kit so now I have 2, and don't need another bottle 1 from the nitrate kit either!

You can probably find on-line or at many pet stores. Doesn't do you any good being in England but I just checked and a local Petco sells it. Of course it is both bottles...

Yeah I can find nothing bottles online, wish they just sold them separately!

Pretty sure the very first time I bought the Master kit it came with 2 of bottle 1 for the nitrate as well!

Both API and Salfert does that for their nitrate assay. Salifert’s first reagent is liquid. The second reagent is a powder. They give you enough of the powder reagent to last a lifetime. The bottled reagent…..not so much!

See that kind of thing would probably put me off a particular brand if I'm honest!
