Wow you are crazy woman....you letting your own horses standing in their stalls all day do nothing and the horses are herd animals means they like to be with horses, so if your horses get pecked by other horses that's normal way to shows who's boss here. Flies don't bother horses lots just during summer. Plus don't blame on Jasonskillz because he don't own horses doesn't mean he's dumb. He's enough smart to knew how to able to afford the horses. Through the horses are much expensive than small fishes but tankbuster are much much expensive than horses. Plus horses look so beautifully on pasture than being kept in stalls expect the studs..That's right I went there, stumpy. You just can't handle the truth very well. And have your parents paying all of vet bills and electricity bills for you....wow...no wondering you got hissy at everyone....yeah I still think its funny!

Alrite guys this is starting to get off topic and has nothing to do with gouramis at all. This is suppose to be for helping and understanding, so just let it go and forget about whose right or wrong. lol seriously.

I'm done cuz I already won the battle with city horselover anyways....it was so weird about how she get the horses involving into this forum and lots of weird sayings from her....I hope she learned her lesson very well and not make same mistakes in future...she's completly creeped me out!

Butch, this forum isn't actually about having battles, it's about fishkeeping.

Notsosimple, what did you think of my point about showing the shop the problems with selling sharks? The thing is, as long as people keep buying their sharks and then suffering in silence, without ever making their lives awkward, they will keep on ordering more sharks. As fishkeepers we do have a duty to ensure that fish get a good deal. And that might well include complaining if you find you have been mis-sold a fish. As long as you don't tell them, they won't know. Anyway, that's my take on it.

I have to agree. keeping them just because you already have them and the damage has been done isn't a great reason. i would complain and take the chance that maybe they will get a home that suits them better.

LFS are shady a lot of the time. I know that at the Petco in my town the fish that start off small and get big fast don't have an adult size on the name label like the rest of the smaller fish. it's because they are hoping that people won't ask and they will be able to make the sale. teach them a lesson.
